Mapping Cities with High Resolution LIDAR Imaging

New York University’s Center for Urban Science and Progress has published LIDAR data of Dublin, Ireland with a resolution of 300 points per square meter, making it the highest-resolution public LIDAR dataset ever. LIDAR data is valuable 3D topographical information that researchers and engineers can use for a variety of applications, such as urban planning, infrastructure management, and training autonomous systems.
