The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) has published data cataloging political party spending for the 2014-2015 fiscal year. Donors must disclose all donations to political parties and associated entities—organizations controlled by or closely related to political parties—above $12,800 AUD (approximately $9,000 USD), and political parties and associated entities must report all funding received and spent above this amount. Political donations for the 2014-2015 fiscal year decreased by approximately $100 million AUD ($70.9 million USD) from the previous year.
